Leaflet things

I designed these leaflets yesterday in Photoshop, taking inspiration from the composition, lettering and content of various old posters and leaflets. Using a piece of folded and crumpled paper that I scanned in to my computer, I messed around with the pictures to make them look real, weathered and old. I also used elements of some textures I found at cgtextures.com. For example, in the weathered version of the second design you can just about make out the texture of some ink-marbled paper that I used to create the effect of old stains and water damage.

Some good websites

I got some free fonts from dafont.com that relate to my project. There are thousands of good fonts there, so it's a good site to visit if you need some.

Also, cgtextures is another good site. It has loads of images of various patterns and textures, like bricks, paper, wood, etc.. You have to create an account to download full-resolution textures, but you can look at them for free.
